Rajinikanth -A Charismatic Star
Rajinikanth is a reigning star of Tamil Cinema even today. Rajini was Introduced by K. Balachander in his 1975 Tamil Film Apoorva Ragangal and Balachander went on to give him roles in his future films.
In his early days Rajini got only side roles and villian roles but his charisma and style gained more popularity among the movie fans be it Pandian in Apoorva Ragangal or Prasad in Moondru mudichu. Rajini always earned the fans attention.
In his early days He mostly got antihero roles which shaped him as a better actor. 16 vayathinele and Bhairavi are the most important films in his film carrer. In 16 vayathinele at the end of each dialogue He will say Eddu Eppadi Iruku which gave a nice finishing touch and increased his popularity.
When kalaignam the writer and producer of Bhairavi came to him with the script Rajini was initially Hestitant and he had thoughts whether people will accept him in a Lead role. But kalaignam encouraged him to take act in the film. When kalaignam went to santo chinnappa devar for finance He wasn't ready to finance because Rajini is the Hero.
But kalaignam has finalised Rajini as the hero He isn't ready to change it for anyone. And he produced the film with his own money and a film is a super hit. Dhanu who was a distributor at that time displayed his name as Superstar Rajinikanth which became his identity.
Bhairavi was a turning point in Rajini's carrer and He began to get Lead role after that film. Rajini helped kalaignam whenever he was in financial trouble and gave profit shares for Him, VK Ramasamy and Pandaribai by making them Name sake producers in his own production Arunachalam.
